  1. Hi! I found your blog from Spiritual Writer’s Network! =)

I like both sunrises and sunsets; they each have their own beauty, and tale to tell. I read in a book once that each one whispers of Eden’s return, whispers of God’s glory.

My favorite thing is when the day has been cloudy and rainy and dark, and there seems to be no hope for a sunset that looks like anything. But then, the sun breaks through somehow, and lights up the sky…and it is more breathtaking than it would have been had it been a gorgeous day the whole time. It makes me think of a life that has been dark, messed up…and then, God breaks through and sets it afire. It just speaks of redemption to me, sunsets do…I don’t know! =) Both are gorgeous!

    1. Angie-
Great metaphor comparing the sudden sunset after a crummy day with God turning our poor choices around for His glory.

I love the fresh, crisp cleanness of early morning so I generally prefer sunrise. Something about the rays of light after a dark night makes me believe anything is possible. A fresh new start at every dawn.

      Thanks for visiting and commenting.

      1. Thanks! I love getting up early enough to take pictures of the sunrise…I know what you mean about the rays of light. It is such a spiritual experience to go out while it is still dark…and watch the sun come up. =)
